The E16T is a universal Ethernet communicator designed to bring cloud connectivity to any security control panel equipped with a landline dialer. By simulating a PSTN phone line, it captures data via TIP/RING and transmits it through a high-speed wired LAN. It is the perfect solution for high-security environments where cellular signals are restricted, providing ultra-stable reporting and full Protegus 2 app support.
Compatible with any alarm panel that has a PSTN dialer. It simulates a phone line to capture Contact ID or SIA events without requiring complex integration with the panel’s data bus.
Uses a wired RJ45 connection for lightning-fast event delivery. Ideal for basements, server rooms, or shielded buildings where 4G/LTE coverage is weak or unavailable.
Features 30-second supervised polling to the CMS. Because it uses a wired internet link, it offers superior reliability and immunity to radio frequency jamming.
Transform legacy systems into smart ones. Users receive real-time "Push" notifications and can remotely Arm/Disarm the system via the Protegus 2 app using keyswitch zone simulation.
Works with any control panel supporting Contact ID or SIA landline reporting formats.
Seamlessly converts old PSTN communication to modern, encrypted IP reporting.
“Plug-and-play” installation: simply connect the panel’s dialer to the E16T’s TIP/RING terminals.
Captures detailed information: specific zones, partitions, and user IDs.
Event transmission via Ethernet to TRIKDIS hardware/software receivers or SIA DC-09 receivers.
Parallel reporting: sends events to the monitoring station and Protegus 2 app simultaneously.
Industry-standard AES-128 encryption for all transmitted data.
Built-in event buffer to ensure no data is lost during short-term network disruptions.
2 selectable I/O terminals for local monitoring or remote equipment control.
Remote Arm/Disarm of one area using a programmable output connected to a keyswitch zone.
Control of auxiliary systems like gates, lighting, or barriers through the mobile app.
Real-time monitoring of power supply status and Ethernet link health.
Easy configuration via USB Mini-B or remote management via the Protegus 2 and TrikdisConfig software.
Two access levels for professional security: CMS Administrator and Installer.
Remote firmware updates ensure the device always supports the latest security protocols.
Direct cloud enrollment for fast user onboarding into the Protegus ecosystem.
