The G16T is a universal cellular communicator designed to upgrade any security control panel with a landline dialer. By simulating a PSTN phone line, it captures event data via TIP/RING and transmits it over high-speed 4G LTE. It is the ultimate “plug-and-play” bridge to bring legacy systems into the modern era with professional CMS reporting and the Protegus 2 app.
Connects to the landline dialer of ANY alarm panel. It simulates a phone line and captures Contact ID or SIA codes without needing deep panel programming.
Provides users with real-time "Push" notifications, system status, and remote control. Modernize the user experience for old systems without replacing the hardware.
Reliable event delivery via 4G LTE with 2G fallback. Features 30-second supervised polling to ensure the connection to the CMS is always active.
Allows remote control even on legacy panels. Uses a PGM output to trigger a keyswitch zone or DTMF simulation to Arm/Disarm the system via the app.
Compatible with all control panels that feature a PSTN communicator (Contact ID or SIA formats).
Converts legacy landline reporting to encrypted IP reporting.
No need to change the existing panel settings in most cases – simply redirect the dialer to the G16T.
Captures detailed events: specific zones, user IDs, and technical faults.
Primary transmission via 4G LTE (Cat-1) for maximum speed and longevity.
Reporting protocols: TRK (TRIKDIS), SIA DC-09 (2007/2012), and SUR-GARD (TL150).
Parallel reporting: sends events to the CMS and Protegus 2 app simultaneously.
SMS and Call notifications as backup or for direct user alerts.
2 selectable I/O terminals that can be used as inputs or programmable outputs (OC type).
Remote control of 1 area (Arm/Disarm/Stay) via keyswitch simulation.
Control of auxiliary equipment like gates, barriers, or lighting through the Protegus 2 app.
Real-time monitoring of power supply and network signal strength.
Fast setup via USB Mini-B or full remote configuration via TrikdisConfig and Protegus 2.
Two access levels for secure management: CMS Administrator and Installer.
Remote firmware updates to ensure compatibility with evolving network standards.
Internal event buffer to prevent data loss during temporary cellular outages.
